Educational Objectives

  1. Increase the knowledge on prevalence and screening as well as diagnosis of benign prostate hyperplasia.
  1. Improve the knowledge and skill sets of healthcare professionals to implement optimal and appropriate pharmacologic treatment of benign prostate hyperplasia.
  2. Increase screening efforts and initiation of appropriate treatment when a patient presents with symptoms suggestive of benign prostate hyperplasia to a healthcare professional.
  3. Improve the skill sets of health care professionals to overcome barriers to accurate diagnoses and treatment of benign prostate hyperplasia such as culture, co-morbidities, and health illiteracy.
