Educational Objectives

1. Improve clinician’s awareness and adherence to practice guidelines. 
   
2. Improve clinician’s ability to recognize and manage complications of T2DM.
   
3. Help clinicians better recognize and manage co-morbid conditions in patients with T2DM.  
4. Understand appropriate management options for symptoms and side effects associated with T2DM treatment.
   
5. Improve the management of T2DM in aging and racially/ethnically/gender diverse populations.
6.  Improve patients’ understanding and recognition of T2DM, and the role they play in the management of their T2DM.
