Disease State: Hypertension

Educational Objectives

1. Improve health care provider awareness and attitudes that effective management of hypertension and other CVD risk factors can reduce future CVD morbidity and mortality. 
   
2. Increase awareness and knowledge of current clinical research that adds to the body of scientific evidence contributing to the care of patients with hypertension and other CVD risk factors..
   
3. Enhance health care provider awareness and knowledge of the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of the different pharmacologic treatment modalities that modulate the RAAS to reduce blood pressure and mitigate the negative consequences of poor BP control.   
4. Increase knowledge and adoption of hypertension and other CV standards of care guidelines into clinical practice.
