A Better Future

Innovation, revolutionary advances in patient care and medicine, greater relief from physical discomfort and disease, living longer, better, more comfortably, gaining a deeper understanding of one's own health condition and knowing which treatments, if any, to pursue. these ideals will always be sought after and cherished around the world. Yet, that universal hope for a better future - and the drive to create it - are made possible through activities that in many cases, are woefully under-funded.

The Boehringer Ingelheim Cares Foundation is committed to making cash contributions to qualified non-profit organizations. In 2004, the Foundation made grants totaling $1.9 million to groups large and small where help was needed. This is yet another way Boehringer Ingelheim improves lives through innovative philanthropic contributions.

This kind of support launches projects that provide access to health care treatment, disease management, and patient education and gives ongoing support. The primary focus of Foundation grants are: providing access to medical care in the local communities where our U.S. operations are located and improving math and scientific education in these same communities. Download our Grant Application Form and our Grant Agreement Form to apply for funding. For more details about how to apply for a grant, please see our grant guidelines.

If you are applying for an accredited educational grant for healthcare providers or a non-accredited educational program directed towards patients, please visit our educational grants Web site.

Note: The Boehringer Ingelheim Cares Foundation cannot meet every request for eligible donations and budget constraints may limit financial contributions to those organizations selected.
