Involvement & Engagement
Boehringher Ingelheim has Diversity Councils, which provide forums for employee
ideas and involvement related to diversity initiatives, recruitment and retention, training and education, work/life
balance, and community and marketplace focus. Diversity Council members represent a mixture of colleagues within the
company. They demonstrate a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion efforts and serve as formal and informal thought leaders for our efforts.
Supplier Diversity
Boehringer Ingelheim views supplier diversity as a commitment both to the local communities it serves and to
the U.S. economy. Through purchasing and contracting practices, the company embraces the principles of strengthening the national and local economy by aiding, counseling
