Funding Opportunities

Boehringer Ingelheim recognizes the innovation taking place across communities and wishes to share its success with those reaching for the same goals. There are three types of financial support for organizations or programs that improve access to medical care, enhance science and math education, strengthen local communities or develop approaches to the management of disease.

List of Funding Opportunities

  • Charitable Donations

Organizations or associations that are tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code can apply for a charitable donation from the Boehringer Ingelheim Cares Foundation, Inc. The programs must align with the Foundation’s goals to improve access to healthcare for those in need and enhance science and math education while strengthening the communities in which we live and work.

  • Medical Educational Grants

Medical Educational Grants are independent educational activities that utilize effective educational methods to address unmet medical needs that leads to improved patient outcomes.  A Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc. medical educational grant is designed to provide support for accredited educational programs for health care providers and non-accredited educational programs directed toward the patient and the health care community.
