The mission of the Boehringer Ingelheim Cares Foundation is to improve lives through philanthropic contributions and donations of healthcare products and resources. One of the ways the Foundation fulfills this mission is through its Charitable Donations Program.
Since its creation in 2002, the Foundation has donated millions of dollars to support programs that align with the Foundation’s two core areas of focus—improving access to healthcare for those in need; and enhancing math and science education.
Connecticut is the geographic focus of programs the Foundation supports. Funding is not provided for event sponsorships.
Unfortunately, the Foundation cannot support every organization or program for which a charitable donation is requested. The Foundation reserves the right to limit financial contributions to those organizations that meet specific criteria, as determined within the sole discretion of the Foundation. The Foundation has the right to monitor, review and request reports detailing the use of funds contributed to a project or organization. The Foundation reserves the right to modify the amount(s) provided under an accepted application at any time prior to full disbursement of funds. The Foundation only provides support to organizations that are tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Only charitable donation requests made through the Foundation’s website at www.bicares.com will be considered.
