Our Research Centers

For 125 years the research and development of innovative new medicines for the treatment of diseases with an unmet therapeutic need for patients has been the foundation of Boehringer Ingelheim’s success.

At Boehringer Ingelheim, research and development is conducted at four major research and development sites in North America and Europe and three support centers located in South America, Europe and Asia. In addition, clinical research takes place in nearly 50 countries around the world. Globally, we employ more than 6,900 scientists, technicians and support staff, clinical monitors, statisticians and data managers.
